apricot almond thumbprints

Welcome to my 1:00 - 3:00 today. I've been trying to nail down an apricot recipe since last week and this exceeded all sorts of expectations. I was ready to settle for mediocre and these came out of nowhere and proved me wrong. I think this is a fantastic holiday cookie and literally comes together with little effort. I brought back strawberry & raspberry preserves from France and I can't wait to make these again with that star ingredient.

In the spirit of favorites, let me tell you about how much I love my cookie scoop. If you don't have one, get one and consider it a holiday baking business expense. You won't regret it.

If you are in an almond cookie making mood, check out the recipe here.

Kelsey! I found your blog a few months ago and have been meaning to say CONGRATS on everything! I was out of state when you got married, but my mom said your hubby was a great guy and the wedding was great! Also, congrats on the Food Network show! That is so awesome and I'm sure I'll see you on the Food Network soon!! Your pics from Europe are gorgeous and I hope I can get there one day myself. Hope all is well!!

P.S. When Michael Jackson died, I couldn't help but take a trip down memory lane to 2nd grade..... ha ha.
