fruit at my fingertips

This is my view from my living room window and it makes me oh-so-happy. We open our building doors every morning to a charming fruit stand with bags of juicy grapes for only $1 and 5 mangoes for $2! I requested a watermelon from the stand owner yesterday and he said that he would see what he could do for me. That is the only way we're getting watermelon this year because I don't think that I would make it more than a block or two with a 7 pounder under my arm.
