2 Nite...will you be watching?

(Laughing it up with B. Flay...thank you)

I hope everyone enjoys episode 1 of Next Food Network Star. Once again, I really appreciate all of the support. I'm lucky to be surrounded by the best family and friends anyone could ask for. I'd love to hear your feelings regarding episode 1...

So we caught your show tonight and thought you were absolutely great and I just had to tell you I wish you the best of luck! (even though you already know the outcome:). Also, good luck with the wedding plans!

geez we hardly know each other, and i was shaking with nervousness watching you! it's a lot different when you know someone on the show! you did great, but i guess it's kind of silly to give you encouragement for next week when the season is already filmed!

Loved it Kels! I thought you did fantastic. And I also think you are the furthest thing from a caffinated cheerleader. We will be voting tomorrow, I want you to get that kitchen!

We had a small party at our house- and we all LOVED it! You did a fabulous job- we're so proud of you! Looks like you have some really great people that you're up against, but you out-shined them all! Love you! Can't wait to keep watching!

Kelsey, it was awesome! This is Ashley Strand by the way. You were by far the best all around and that's not being biased. I can't believe how comfortable you seemed. So awesome. We'll definately keep watching for ya.

Oh Kelsey- you ROCK! I know I'm biased, but you were definitely the most comfortable and confident finalist on there tonight. Seriously! I don't care what Giada says, I know you're for real and I love watching you! (by the way, had you seen that clip of what the judges said about you and your food before tonight? what did you think about it??)

I bet it was hard to see anyone go home- and probably gets harder the longer you are with them. I think they sent the right person home tonight, though.

So, is there a reason that the four of you are in that picture? Is that the final four?? Just curious. For whatever it's worth, after just one episode my prediction for top three are: you (of course), Kevin, and Adam. I think the three of you seemed the most comfortable in front of the camera. . . of course I can't judge the cooking.

I can't wait to see what you have to do next- I'm so loving this!

Holy cow! You did such an amazing job! The show wasn't long enough...I wanted more! You were so confident and composed, or at least you made it appear that way :) I'm seriously SO impressed! Sunday's are now my favorite tv night! You rock!

Kelsey, you're so obviously the girl to beat. We had a bunch of screaming fans filling the family room last night (mostly my kids. . .) and we can't get enough. I think I held my breath the whole time you were cooking (A meal for 10 in 30 minutes!! STRESS!) but you were fab.

I know you stressed about how the judges reacted to you after that challenge -- were they more harsh in real life? Because I really didn't think it was that bad. (But then again, it wasn't me standing there taking the criticism.) How did you react the first time you watched it, and are you happy with the way they edited it? Do you feel like they edited it in your favor?

We were trying to figure out --
While you guys were cooking in the kitchen for that challenge, who was sitting at the tables watching you?

I watched...and I thought you did great! You seemed very comfortable, and you were by FAR the most likable contestant. The show wasn't long enough! I wanted to see more and I hate that we have to wait a week to see more! Anyway, great job!

Well, I'm off to go partake of some designer dining. LOL. Just kidding!

OK. SO Much to say, Maybe I should write this in a word document and then paste it in :)

1. I can't STAND the Dallas dud. UGH. Maybe I'll like her more later in the season?

2. Very happy with the judges decision to get rid of the "Comedian" and her trendy food.

3. I was totally annoyed with Giada, BUT I was really glad that they told you straight up how they felt so you could "fix" (whatever) it instead of not knowing

4. I was SO SO SO SO stressed the whole time, even though I KNEW you were safe. I was supposed to be folding laundry but I couldn't even do it cause I was so concentrated

5. I have NEVER in my life been so excited about a show. I can't wait for next week! And I totally agree with all the others, the hour went by WAY too fast!

I love you! I am so excited!! And I will vote like crazy!

It was AMAZING! You did a really good job- especially in that kind of pressure! Crazy! It's so fun that you got to meet all of those people... I am jealous! I can't wait until next week... I wish I could wish you luck, but I'm sure you did great anyway. ( :

See you at the wedding!

By the way, I had multiple dreams about being on this show last night and it was so nerve-wracking! (I internalize way too much) I can't believe you really did it! You are so awesome!

Trev and I adore the show. We think that Italian hag who said something about your peppiness is so lame. She's just bitter because no one really likes her. ;) You looked amazing, represented well, and I must say, exuded beauty and confidence. Keep it up!
